John grew up in Denver, Colorado and was called to ministry during his freshman year of high school. Throughout college he began to receive a passion for preaching and teaching children and a Biblical understanding of the church. He moved to Texas to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary He served for 6 years as Children’s Minister in a suburb of Dallas where he began his Ph.D. in Leadership and Pastoral Ministry at Dallas Baptist University. On a hospital visit to a preschooler he was blessed beyond understanding to meet Raluca who was helping friends care for their daughter. They fell in love despite several times apart as Raluca returned to her native Romania. After their marriage they have been blessed to be a couple and best friends who enjoy working on their home, being creative, and just being together. John loves getting to serve as a pastor to children by equipping parents to bring their children up in the ways of the Lord.
