Why Sunday Morning Bible Study?

The vision for Providence Baptist Fellowship's Sunday Morning Bible Study Ministry is driven by 4 convictions:

1.) Teaching

Instruction in the Word of God is the primary emphasis of the SMBS ministry. But the teaching is not merely for information but for life transformation.

2.) Reaching

Each SMBS class is to be structured in such a way as to organize the class for corporate evangelism and outreach. Each member is also expected to be committed to continuously inviting un-churched friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and etc.

3.) Serving

The life of a class must extend beyond its "walls" and formal meeting times into the life of the community. Each class is to be dedicated to finding and fulfilling opportunities of service to the Nolensville community and beyond.

4.) Fellowshipping

Biblical fellowship is sharing life together centered around the Gospel. It is not merely having a cup of coffee and a donut, but bearing one another's burdens and living as the family of God.
