| INAUGURAL SERVICE JULY 20, 2008 |

| Welcome to the inaugural service of Providence Baptist Fellowship! We are excited to worship our Lord together and join hearts in praise of the One who gives us salvation. It is the heart of the ministerial staff to glorify our heavenly Father by exalting the name of Jesus. We exist for the purpose of "Knowing God, and making Him known." Jesus is the reason for our gathering. He has revealed Himself through the Holy Scriptures and if we are to know Him, it is through intentional and consistent study of the Bible. As we grow in out personal and intimate knowledge of Jesus, we will then fulfill the mission of our lives "To Enjoy God forever and lead others to do the same." Our goal is to lead the lost to salvation and build up the believer in his/her faith. As we strive together to meet these goals we will see a stronger church family. As the family of Providence is built up in our Lord, our prayer must be that we are a place and people where we all can be ENCOURAGED, EQUIPPED, and ENGAGED. When we are ENCOURAGED in our relationship with Jesus, we are better EQUIPPED to be the ambassador of Jesus we are meant to be to the world around us, and we are more likely to be ENGAGED in both worship and fulfilling the great commission. We would ask for your prayers and patience as we continue to work through some of the finer details of PBF's ministries. |
